Dr. Thouseef Madikeri

Dr Thouseef Madikeri is a distinguished scholar and the founding director of the Centre for Educational Research & Training. With a PhD in Biotechnology, he brings a unique blend of expertise in the fields of Biofuels, Educational Policy & Administration.

Dr Madikeri has demonstrated a passionate commitment to improving education in India. He has initiated and facilitated numerous educational debates, seminars, discussions and conferences on important educational issues, both in the state of Karnataka and across the nation, especially among educationists, politicians, and the student community as a leading voice for educational reform.

As an active advocate for education, Dr Madikeri has organized over 200 events on education issues, which include initiatives such as Education in Assembly, Sansad Mein Shiksha, Students Parliament, Shiksha Samvad, Shiksha Adalat, Mewat Educational Development, and Sarkaar se Sawaal. He has also organized several national and international conferences at various universities in India, bringing together distinguished scholars and experts from diverse fields to advance the discourse on education.

Dr Madikeri’s contributions to the field of education extend beyond his leadership of the Centre for Educational Research & Training. He has authored some publications, articles, and reports on the issues of education in newspapers and journals, showcasing his depth of knowledge and expertise on a range of topics.
